Apex Legends Mobile: a viable alternative to PUBG?
Apex Legends Mobile is a battle royale first-person shooter game released for free by EA on three platforms, PC, Xbox One and PS4, or rather, Respawn. Story line

Many changes from the traditional Battle Royale
Set in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends Mobile is a battle royale game that adds some spice to games like Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch. Each match has 60 players divided into 20 teams. You play as one of eight available legends, working together with two teammates to find the last remaining team. The character element is the difference between Apex Legends Mobile and games of the same genre. Each character has a unique ability which we will mention below, so choosing your character can unlock many unique tactics that make the game more immersive and unpredictable. Although this is the first version, I hardly feel any lag in the controls. Everything is very flexible and smooth, the only thing you can’t hit the wall like Titanfall. It is a versatile battle royale game where you can swing on a rope, jump over walls and slide down ramps. Unfortunately, if your team is at a disadvantage and want to escape, the ramp slide is the most effective way to escape in this case. It is important to know that you never lose HP when jumping from above to the ground. So you can jump off the 20th floor in comfort and still be safe. The battle royale element remains the same at the start of the game. You and 59 other players jump onto the map from an airplane. Your choice of starting position will greatly influence your approach to the race. Next, you must quickly find the necessary equipment, weapons and armor to be ready to face all enemies. Teamwork is essential if your team is to win, the developer agrees too. If your teammate is eliminated in a match, you still have a chance to revive him if you collect his banner in time and bring it to the specified location on the map.
About the eight legends
- Bangalore (real name: Anita Williams, 35): She is an excellent soldier. Born into a family of five brothers who participated in the IMC force, he soon revealed his special fighting skills and became the best soldier in this force. Anita’s main weapon is a grenade launcher, she has flexible movements and an extreme ability – to request bomb support from the air force.
- Bloodhound: Not much is known about this character. He is a Beast of the Hunt character with the ability to track and find hidden players with extreme skill. He is a true bloodthirsty fighter.
- Kaustinen (real name: Alexander Knox, 48): top scientist at Humbert Labs, master in the use of poisonous gases. All of his skills are related to Knox, he likes to use Knox to create traps and grenades.
- Gibraltar (real name: Makoa Gibraltar, 30): He is a good person and likes to help others. This can be seen in Makoa’s ability to create a shield to protect allies and herself.
- Lifeline (real name: Ajay Che, 24): If Gibraltar is the team defender, Lifeline can be considered the team doctor. Like Sorka and Xylin in LOL, Lifeline is able to AOE heal and revive allies and has a lot of needed buffs.
- Mirage (real name: Elliott White, 30)
- Pathfinder (Name: MRVN, Age: Unknown): This robot has the ability to jump far and create a grapple line that allows the swing team to move easily across the ground.
- Wraith: The game is currently the only witch. He has the ability to steal, detect danger, and most importantly, the ability to create a shortcut so that the whole team can quickly get anywhere.
New map, new game
As of this writing, Apex Legends Mobile only has one map, Kings Canyon. In total, the field is enough for 60 players.
