Survey preparation: 5 steps

1. Place all weapons and character tokens in Tudor Manor Arcade. Not more than six investigators are involved in the investigation. Each detective chooses a character from a list of suspects to use as their respective pawn. Then head to Samuel Blake’s mansion to investigate.

3. Turn 3 Kuromura cards into 1 pair. Selling all cards at once to the inspector always lowers the price. All spies must keep their cards hidden.

If you cannot properly distribute the black cards to the detectives participating in the investigation, place the remaining 2 or 3 cards next to the game board in Tudor Mansion.

4. Give each detective a marker sheet and a pen from the Detective Notebook (sold separately). Keep your handsheet out of sight. Without being seen by the other investigators, each investigator must write down the black clue cards received during the transaction on a clue sheet. Also check to see if there are any cards left in front of the game board.

Not all of these cards come in yellow crime envelopes. Therefore, the people, things and places depicted there have nothing to do with the murder. As the investigation progresses, cards from other detectives will appear in sequence. In any of these cases, it can be marked on the target page. Unless they were at the scene of the crime, they could not be implicated in the murder.

5. Finally, switch out the red prize cards and keep this deck near the board for extra moves or useful actions during the quest. Return the red card box after checking according to the village’s rules.
