It’s a common misconception that action games aren’t as fun as people think, and many titles share the same concept. The game is developed by Rayark, the developer of the famous Cytus and Deemon. “Implosion – Never Lose Hope” is a game about running around in a combat suit, fighting bad guys and bosses. The game is suitable for both beginners and experts, so you don’t have to worry about quitting after a few minutes of playing.
Story
“Implosion – Never Lose Hope” is set in the year 2201, when the Earth was abandoned after evil beings came and destroyed everything. Players take on the role of Jacob Carloway, a young Warmech pilot who is part of a group of humans evacuated to the nearest planet following an alien invasion in 2178. Twenty years later, the people of the planet have learned of the imminent invasion. it attacks from the ground and the survivors must fly there, explore and finish off all enemies. Jacob and his companions have returned to their home planet on a mission to fight the aliens. The fate of the entire planet rests in their hands, luckily they’ve got the War-Mech Series III battle suit to help them on their way to defeating the bad guys and saving the planet. Players are also guided to use a sword and gun and complete objectives in future missions.

Engaging story and fun gameplay
Implosion is well designed with smooth action and excellent combat. In the game, you have to fight against mutants and save the last remnants of humanity. During the missions you meet many secondary characters and it is a lot of fun to play their role. Some dialogue may be crude, but the narratives are spot on. Players start with a variety of basic attacks, including a sword slash, a machine gun, a special move that lets you slide away with the blade extended. You can also unlock other skills to perform different tasks like sword tornado attack or ground attack. Your super moves are available when you tap skillfully to unleash a powerful combo which is a natural spin attack that hits everything around you. Gears are essential in this game, but if you can’t learn the basic moves and when to attack, gears won’t do everything. The game controls are quite smooth, switching between melee and different attacks is not a problem. For movement, a joystick appears anywhere on the left for you to operate. In the right corner of the screen, you’ll see a handful of buttons that you can use to control your actions. Additionally, Implosion supports MFi controllers.
Thousands of quests to play with many monsters and rewarding equipment
Players will never get bored with the games as it has 34 additional activities. Battle your way through research labs and frozen camps filled with monsters of all shapes and sizes. New enemies are introduced every few missions to keep the game from becoming too repetitive, but each mission has some monsters like anthropoid robots or the inevitable zombies. Stronger and bigger enemies have regenerative shields, so don’t get distracted as you will have to break the shields before killing them. Equipment can be found during a mission, rewarded when players complete a level, or purchased with credits players earn in-game. The more you kill, the more powerful your suit becomes. This allows you to equip new parts that improve parameters. If you are not satisfied with the outfit and accidentally start a level, don’t worry, you can change it during the mission. Equipment is dropped at various levels, from monsters, found in chests, etc., which can improve your suit’s stats, including shield, speed, armor, experience, and more. It might be difficult for some people because the game has no tutorial on how it works. And if monsters kill you, you have a chance to respawn anywhere on the map.
A badge system that allows players to trade good things to each other
By scoring side objectives in each level, players earn badges. The board has rooms and each level has its own ranking which you can use to get better results. You can unlock equipment with upgrades, exchange all kinds of valuable goodies, such as special weapons, new costumes. Badges can be earned on Normal, Hard, and Expert levels.

If you are tired of killing aliens to collect coins, the game has supported you with free unlimited money. You can buy any equipment that interests you, equip it with your costume and defeat enemies without fear of losing in battle.

Implosion is a beautifully designed game with a mix of stunning customizations. The gameplay and action are incredibly smooth, the graphics are beautiful and hypnotic with a constant frame rate. It’s impressive that the game manages all that chaos without crazy lag. Players will see some slowdowns during combat, but that’s okay. However, if you have seen the trailer before playing this game, you will be disappointed as the trailer is shown in fully rendered 3D when the game is at default rating.
Music and sound
The soundtrack is perfect, it really makes you feel like you are in a sci-fi world. It’s pretty impressive that the voice acting is spot on as the film unfolds. The Implosion developer has already created music for many games, so it’s not hard to see why the music is excellent.
